Naturopathic Visits

Your Naturopathic visit will consist of a comprehensive health assessment and individualized treatment plan. Appointments typically include physical examination as well as laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed. Emphasis is placed on patient education and guidance to help you take control over your own health. Naturopathic Doctors aim to address your current health concerns, help maintain a long-term health plan and strengthen your physical and mental health to prevent future disease.

Naturopathic Training

Naturopathic Doctors (ND) receive four years of fulltime post-graduate studies and over 1200 hours of supervised clinical experience. They must successfully complete two sets of Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examinations (NPLEX I & II), a set of standardized examinations used across North America. Naturopaths are regulated by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario under the Naturopathy Act. They are required to maintain continuing education credits to uphold their registration and good standing with their provincial or state regulatory body.
